1. A motor vehicle lock comprising:
a locking mechanism having a catch and a pawl;
a sensor arrangement associated with the locking mechanism, the sensor arrangement including a fixed sensor and a movable sensing element that influences signals of the fixed sensor and follows rotation of the catch, the fixed sensor generating at least two different signals associated with presence and absence of the movable sensing element in a region of influence of the fixed sensor, wherein the movable sensing element produces at least one additional third signal of the fixed sensor in accordance with a position of the fixed sensor in relation to the movable sensing element,
wherein rotation of the movable sensing element caused by rotation of the catch causes the sensor to generate a continuous linear increasing signal corresponding to a linearly increasing output voltage at the sensor or continuous linear decreasing signal corresponding to a linearly decreasing output voltage at the sensor in accordance with an angle of rotation of the catch in accordance with a position of the movable sensing element in a measuring region of the fixed sensor; and
flux guide pieces for the movable sensing element, wherein the motor vehicle lock includes two flux guide pieces having associated air gaps between the two flux guide pieces, wherein the fixed sensor is arranged in an air gap of the associated air gaps.
