1. A wear assembly for use in an abrasive environment including fines comprising:
a wear member having an exterior surface, an interior surface including a mounting portion that is securable to a base, and a hole defined by an inner surface extending from the exterior surface to the interior surface;
a pin having a widened head and a shank including threads, the widened head being wider than the shank and having a lower surface aligned with a top surface of the pin, the pin is movably received in the hole and releasably maintained in the hole in a hold position where the lock secures the wear member to the base; and
an outer seal at an outer side of the threads of the pin adjacent the head, the outer seal is secured between the inner surface and lower surface and the threads of the pin when the pin is in the hold position to limit the ingress of fines into the threads.
