1. A chimeric insecticidal protein that is toxic to a lepidopteran insect pest comprising:
(a) the amino acid sequence from position 1 to 597 of any one of SEQ ID NOs: 4, 5, 10, and 11; or
(b) the amino acid sequence of any one of SEQ ID NOs: 4, 5, 10, and 11; or
(c) the amino acid sequence from positions 1 to 597 of any one of SEQ ID NOs: 7, 8, and 9; or
(d) the amino acid sequence of any one of SEQ ID NOs: 7, 8, and 9.
