1. A system for capturing CO2, comprising:
an air process zone configured to allow an inlet air stream to pass through the air process zone;
a sorbent wheel comprising a sorbent material;
a humid zone proximate to the sorbent wheel; and
a CO2 storage material proximate to the humid zone;
wherein the sorbent wheel is configured to rotate such that a portion of the sorbent material is alternatively exposed to the inlet air stream in the air process zone and to the humid zone,
wherein the sorbent material is configured to capture CO2 from the inlet air stream when in the air process zone, and to release the CO2 when the sorbent material is exposed to humid air in the humid zone, and
wherein the CO2 storage material is configured to store the CO2 after the CO2 is released by the sorbent material in response to being exposed to the humid air in the humid zone.
