1. A nest for the storage of medical device components, comprising:
a top surface,
a bottom surface,
a plurality of receptacles for the storage of a plurality of medical device components therein, wherein each of the plurality of receptacles comprises a sidewall portion extending downward from the bottom surface of the nest, and
a plurality of ring-shaped protrusions extending upward from the top surface of the nest,
wherein each of the plurality of ring-shaped protrusions is sized and configured to receive a bottom portion of a corresponding one of the plurality of receptacles when a plurality of nests are vertically stacked relative to one another, wherein the sidewall portion of a first set of the plurality of receptacles extends farther downward from the bottom surface of the nest than the sidewall portion of a second set of the plurality of receptacles, and wherein at least one receptacle of the plurality of receptacles is individually surrounded by a ring-shaped protrusion of the plurality of ring-shaped protrusions.
