1. A virtual experience station comprising:
a virtual display system;
a kinematic rig to position or support a body of a user;
a camera system positioned to capture an image about the kinematic rig or the user and coupled to the virtual display system;
a plurality of ultrasound transducers to produce a spatially profiled audio field; and
a processor, operably connected to the camera system and the virtual display system, to incorporate information from the image into a virtual image,
direct the virtual display system to output the virtual image as at least a part of a virtual environment,
determine, based at least in part from the image, positions of a left ear and a right ear of the user, and
control the plurality of ultrasound transducers to produce a first localized audio signal about the left ear and a second localized audio signal about the right ear.
