1. A device for excising tissue, the device comprising:
a suction cup forming a tapered suction chamber comprising a first taper that tapers from a perimeter of the suction chamber at a first height to a center of the suction chamber at a second height less than the first height, enabling a suction force to be applied against the tissue in a first direction, and wherein the suction cup comprises a second taper that tapers continuously from the first height at the perimeter of the suction chamber at a proximal end of the suction cup around a circumference of the suction cup to a third height at a distal end of the suction cup, the third height less than the first height and greater than the second height;
a stem coupled to the proximal end of the suction cup; and
a cutting element coupled to the suction cup and configured to excise a tissue.
