1. A device, comprising:
a sleeve having a proximal end and a distal end;
an aspiration lumen disposed concentrically in the sleeve and extending from the proximal end of the sleeve to the distal end of the sleeve,
wherein the aspiration lumen is disposed concentrically in the sleeve to define an irrigation lumen in an annular region between the sleeve and the aspiration lumen; and
a curved aspiration tip, coupled to the sleeve at the distal end of the sleeve, that has multiple aspiration ports configured to draw material into the aspiration lumen from multiple areas when a suction source is used to apply vacuum pressure at a proximal end of the aspiration lumen,
wherein the curved aspiration tip has a radius of curvature based on a human equatorial lens diameter,
wherein the multiple aspirations ports are configured to be arranged consecutively along a curve of the aspiration tip along a width of the curved aspiration tip from one end of the width of the curved aspiration tip to an opposite end of the width of the curved aspiration tip,
wherein the width of the curved aspiration tip is longer than a height of the curved aspiration tip, is longer than a depth of the curved aspiration tip, and wherein the width is along an axis perpendicular to the aspiration lumen, and
wherein the distal end of the sleeve includes one or more irrigation ports arranged to permit irrigation fluid to flow outwardly therefrom.
