1. A surgical method comprising:
implanting a prosthesis in an intraperitoneal site for reinforcement of soft tissue, the prosthesis including
a porous knit made from a yarn made of a synthetic biocompatible material, said porous knit defining two opposite faces of, a first face and a second open face, the yarn of the porous knit extending from the first face to the second open face,
a synthetic non porous biodegradable film comprising at least a copolymer of at least ε-caprolactone, said film covering at least part of said first face,
a synthetic biodegradable binder bonding said film to said first face, said binder comprising at least a polymer of ε-caprolactone, wherein said prosthesis is configured to promote cell colonization directly into the second open face of said porous knit, and
fixating the prosthesis to surrounding tissue.
