1. A device configured to determine an organ function in a subject in need thereof, said device comprising:
a first sensor configured to (i) detect a first set of photons emitted by an indicator compound in a first body fluid at a first position on the subject, and (ii) transcutaneously measure, based on the first set of photons, a first concentration-time curve in the first body fluid;
a second sensor configured to (i) detect a second set of photons emitted by the indicator compound in a second body fluid at a second position on the subject, and (ii) transcutaneously measure, based on the second set of photons, a second concentration-time curve in the second body fluid; and
a data processing unit configured to fit values associated with the first and second concentration-time curves into a kinetic model,
wherein the first body fluid and the second body fluid of the subject may be the same or different, and said first sensor and said second sensor are operatively linked in that the data processing unit of the device is configured to bring together results of the transcutaneous measurements performed by the first sensor and the second sensor and fit the transcutaneous measurements into the kinetic model to determine the organ function.
