1. A method for treating an aneurysm, comprising:
providing an occlusion device releasably coupled to an elongate delivery shaft and comprising a cover and a looped mesh tube, the cover comprising a braided tube inverted into a two-layer structure, and the braided tube having first and second ends at a proximal end of the cover, the two-layer structure comprising a distal concavity, the looped mesh tube having first and second ends held within the cover;
advancing a distal end of a delivery catheter having a delivery lumen to a location adjacent the aneurysm;
advancing the occlusion device through the delivery lumen of the delivery catheter, with the cover and the looped mesh tube each compressed into a compressed state;
advancing the occlusion device out of the delivery lumen of the delivery catheter at the distal end of the delivery catheter, and into the aneurysm, such that the cover and the looped mesh tube each expand: and
detaching the occlusion device from the elongate delivery shaft.
