1. A component of a surgical stapler, comprising:
a first telescopic section having a body section and an attachment section coupled to the body section;
a first spacer section configured to slidably receive the attachment of the first telescopic section; and
a second spacer section,
wherein the first spacer section is located between the body section of the first telescopic section and the second spacer section, and
wherein the first spacer section is configured to engage with the second spacer section during a surgical action performed by the surgical stapler, and to disengage from the second spacer section after the surgical action is performed.
