1. A system for providing equipment support, comprising:
a computer configured to:
establish a communication session between the computer, a support device, and a user device, the communication session including one or more of real-time audio communication or real-time video communication between the support device and the user device;
receive an image of equipment from the user device;
identify a 3D mesh for the equipment based on contents of the one or more of real-time audio communication or real-time video communication;
transmit, via the communication session, the 3D mesh for overlay on the image at the support device;
receive, from the support device, an annotation and a user-selected position on the image for the annotation;
transmit, via the communication session, the annotation and the 3D mesh to the user device for presentation on the image at the user-selected position, the annotation anchored to the 3D mesh; and
transmit, via the communication session, audio or video instructional information related to the equipment and referencing at least the annotation.
