1. A method of handling processing of data in cloud environments, comprising:
receiving, by a service, from a first server hosting a first application of a plurality of application, a first dataset generated in response to a function of the first application;
generating, by the service responsive to receipt of the first dataset, a plurality of identifiers defining a sequence of processing of the first dataset associated with the function among one or more of the plurality of applications in a cloud environment, the plurality of identifiers comprising (i) a first identifier indicating the first application as a predecessor for the first dataset and (ii) a second identifier indicating a second application of the plurality of application as a successor for the first dataset;
identifying, by the server, the second application corresponding to the second identifier as the successor for processing the first dataset;
communicating, by the server, at least a portion of the first dataset with a second server hosting the second application to receive a second dataset generated by the second application; and
storing, by the server on a data storage of the cloud environment, the second dataset received from the second server hosting the second application in the cloud environment.
