1. A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform operations comprising:
receiving measurement data from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) disposed within a housing of an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle, the housing including the IMU, a power source for the IMU, and a processor to receive the measurement data and not including any of a power source of the vehicle, an engine of the vehicle, a camera, a radar, and a lidar;
identifying a tamper event associated with the ECU based on the measurement data from the IMU; and
sending a signal to cause a tamper response to the tamper event, wherein, in response to identification of the tamper event.
