1. A dilute phase powder pump for conveying powder from a powder reservoir to a powder spraying device, wherein the dilute phase powder pump is a modular construction, the dilute phase powder pump comprising:
a powder inlet module at a powder inlet of the dilute phase powder pump, which wherein the powder inlet module is fluidly connected or connectable to the powder reservoir,
a pinch valve module,
a compressed air inlet module, and
a powder-conveying injector designed as a pump module and having a drive nozzle and a collecting nozzle, the pump module being arranged at a powder outlet of the dilute phase powder pump, wherein the powder outlet is fluidly connected or connectable to the powder spraying device,
wherein the powder inlet module, the pinch valve module, the compressed air inlet module, and the powder-conveying injector designed as a pump module are detachably connected to each other,
wherein the compressed air inlet module is arranged between the powder conveying injector designed as a pump module and the pinch valve module,
wherein the powder-conveying injector designed as a pump module is configured to selectively interrupt a fluidic connection between the powder inlet of the dilute phase powder pump and a powder inlet of the drive nozzle, and
wherein a device for functional testing of the dilute phase powder pump or components of the dilute phase powder pump is provided, said device for functional testing comprising at least one pressure sensor for detecting a static and/or dynamic pressure in an area in the fluidic connection between the powder inlet of the dilute phase powder pump and the powder inlet of the drive nozzle, wherein the at least one pressure sensor is further designed to detect a static and/or dynamic pressure in an area in the fluidic connection between the valve device and the powder inlet of the drive nozzle.
