7. A terminal in a wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:
a transceiver; and
at least one processor configured to:
receive, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message including information related to a discontinuous reception (DRX)-onDurationTimer and information indicating a periodic channel status information (CSI) reporting,
receive, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including wake-up information indicating a first value or a second value, and
in case that the wake-up information indicates the first value, not starting the DRX-onDuration Timer and perform the periodic CSI reporting based on the information indicating the periodic CSI reporting.
