1. A method for performing maintenance of a facility for use with a server, a plurality of BLUETOOTH communication sensors arranged throughout the facility, and two or more portable communication devices, the method comprising:
a. transmitting a maintenance signal from the server to the first portable communication device where the maintenance signal comprises information regarding one of an identity and location of a target location within the facility;
b. transmitting an acceptance signal associated with the target location from the first portable communication device to the server in response to receiving the maintenance signal;
c. transmitting a first beacon signal from one of the plurality of BLUETOOTH communication sensors to the first portable communication device, where the transmitting BLUETOOTH communication sensor is fixedly located at or proximate to the target location and where the first beacon signal comprises identifying information;
d. transmitting a first arrival signal from the first portable communication device to the server in response to receiving the first beacon signal;
e. transmitting one or more assigned tasks associated with the target location from the server to the first portable communication device;
f. transmitting one or more completed tasks associated with the target location from the first portable communication device to the server;
g. transmitting one or more consumed inventory associated with the target location from first the portable communication device to the server;
h. transmitting a completion signal associated with the target location from the first portable communication device to the server;
i. transmitting an inspection signal from the server to a second portable communication device in response to the completion signal where the inspection signal comprises information regarding one of the identity and location of the target location within the facility, where the inspection signal triggers an alert at the second portable communication device;
j. transmitting an acceptance signal associated with the target location from the second portable communication device to the server in response to receiving the inspection signal;
k. transmitting a second beacon signal from one of the plurality of BLUETOOTH communication sensors to the second portable communication device, where the transmitting BLUETOOTH communication sensor is fixedly located at or proximate to the target location and where the second beacon signal comprises identifying information;
l. transmitting a second arrival signal from the second portable communication device to the server in response to receiving the second beacon signal;
m. transmitting the one or more assigned tasks and the one or more consumed inventory associated with the target location from the server to the second portable communication device;
n. transmitting a communication regarding one or more of the one or more assigned tasks and the one or more consumed inventory associated with the target location from the second portable communication device to the server; and
o. transmitting a quality control status signal associated with the target location from the second portable communication device to the server.
