1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
receiving, from a transmission reception point (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs and using a control resource set (CORESET) associated with an index value, a downlink control channel carrying a downlink control information (DCI) that triggers an SRS transmission corresponding to one or more SRS resource sets, wherein the index value is associated with a spatial relation for the SRS transmission;
selecting, for the SRS transmission, the spatial relation associated with the index value based on the spatial relation not being configured by a higher layer parameter; and
transmitting, to the TRP and based on the one or more SRS resource sets being associated with the index value, the SRS transmission using the one or more SRS resource sets and the spatial relation associated with the index value.
