1. An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), the apparatus comprising:
processing circuitry configured to:
encode, for transmission to a radio access network (RAN), data from an app using a communication channel;
determine an occurrence of a malicious security event associated with at least one of the RAN, a core network of the RAN, or a remote server related to transmission of the data; and
in response to a determination of the occurrence of the malicious security event:
initiate use of a secure packet data protocol (PDP) path associated with a dedicated secure network slice to communicate PDP data, the secure PDP path associated with a secure PDP context to interface with the dedicated secure network slice, and
take action to secure communication of data with the at least one of the RAN, core network of the RAN, or remote server related to transmission of the data; and
a memory configured to store the secure PDP context.
