1. An image recording device comprising an optoelectronic image sensor, a position sensor, a graphical user output interface, and an evaluation unit,
wherein the image sensor is configured to acquire an image data set that represents an imaging of a scene located in front of the image sensor onto an image area of the image sensor,
wherein the position sensor is configured to detect a spatial position of the image area relative to a reference direction and to provide position data that specify both an angle of rotation, by which the image area is rotated about an optical axis of the image sensor on the acquisition of the image data set, and a tilt angle by which the image area is tilted about a horizontal axis on the acquisition of the image data set,
wherein the horizontal axis is oriented perpendicular to the optical axis and perpendicular to the reference direction,
wherein the evaluation unit is configured to determine, from the position data, a projective transformation that maps the image data set onto a projection plane in dependence on both the rotation and the tilt from the image area,
wherein the projection plane is tilted with respect to the image area in dependence on the tilt angle and intersects the image area along an intersection line that is rotated in the image area with respect to center axes of the image area in dependence on the angle of rotation,
wherein the evaluation unit is configured to determine an image section in the projection plane for the image data set mapped onto the projection plane by means of the projective transformation,
wherein the evaluation unit is configured to display the image section simultaneously with at least a region of the scene imaged onto the image area that lies within the image section in the graphical user output interface.
