1. A method comprising:
determining a need for reduction of a streaming quality based on:
identifying a portion of a frame of a content based on at least one of:
a number of edges and/or curves in the portion of the frame,
a color map for the portion of the frame, or
a degree of distortion of the portion of the frame; and
further identifying the portion of the frame based on a context of the portion of the frame, wherein the context of the portion of the frame is determined based on an importance of the portion of the frame; and
based at least in part on determining the need for reduction of the streaming quality, reducing the streaming quality of the portion of the frame in relation to the streaming quality of the rest of the frame.
