1. A transceiver, comprising:
a network bus having first and second lines
a transmitter coupled to first and second terminals of the transceiver, the first and second terminals of the transceiver coupled to the first and second lines of the network bus, and the transmitter configured to drive a differential voltage at the first and second terminals to communicate a dominant state at the network bus, the differential voltage establishing a dominant state common mode voltage;
a receiver coupled to the first and second terminals;
sense circuitry coupled to the first and second terminals and configured to compare the dominant state common mode voltage at the first and second terminals with a threshold voltage; and
control circuitry coupled to the first and second terminals and to the sense circuitry, the control circuitry configured to control a recessive state common mode voltage responsive to comparing the dominant state common mode voltage with the threshold voltage.
