1. A method of operating user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving a reference signal from a base station;
performing a channel measurement to obtain channel information,
transmitting the channel information to the base station;
in response to the channel information, receiving layer information applied to a neural polar code from the base station through control information;
generating at least one codeword by encoding data;
generating modulation symbols based on the at least one codeword; and
transmitting signals comprising the modulation symbols,
wherein the data is encoded by the neural polar code based on the layer information,
wherein the neural polar code:
performs encoding from an initial layer to a first layer according to the identified layer information based on a polar code transformation, and
performs encoding from the first layer to the generated encoded data based on a neural network-based autoencoder.
