9. A suspension system for an exciter device, the exciter device including a moveable housing and a piston positioned partially within the moveable housing, wherein the piston extends through a first opening of the moveable housing, and wherein the exciter device is configured to generate a vibrational force by causing a linear reciprocating movement of the moveable housing relative to the piston, the suspension system comprising:
a first axial suspension magnet fixedly coupled to the moveable housing and positioned proximate the first opening of the moveable housing, wherein the first axial suspension magnet is configured to oppose a magnetic field of a permanent magnet that is fixedly coupled to the piston, and wherein the opposing magnetic fields between the first axial suspension magnet and the permanent magnet dampen movement of the moveable housing relative to the piston as the first axial suspension magnet approaches the permanent magnet; and
a first radial guide bushing positioned within the first opening of the moveable housing and surrounding a circumference of the piston, wherein the first radial guide bushing is formed of a flexible and compressible material and is configured to restrict radial movement of the moveable housing relative to the piston.
