1. A display device comprising:
a first alignment electrode and a second alignment electrode extending in a first direction and disposed on a substrate and spaced apart from each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction;
a plurality of light emitting elements arranged between the first and second alignment electrodes, each light emitting element overlapping a furthest edge of the first alignment electrode and a furthest edge of the second alignment electrode in a thickness direction of the substrate;
a first contact electrode disposed on the first alignment electrode, the first contact electrode electrically contacting an end portion of the light emitting element; and
a second contact electrode disposed on the second alignment electrode, the second contact electrode electrically contacting another end portion of the light emitting element, the second contact electrode being spaced apart from the first contact electrode in the second direction, wherein
a furthest edge of the first contact electrode and the furthest edge of the first alignment electrode are aligned to a first virtual line substantially perpendicular to the substrate, and
a furthest edge of the second contact electrode facing the furthest edge of the first contact electrode and the furthest edge of the second alignment electrode are aligned to a second virtual line substantially perpendicular to the substrate.
