1. A digital distributed ledger-based system comprising:
one or more hardware processors; and
at least one memory storing instructions that cause the one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:
receiving, via a first application, a first data transmission record representative of a transmission of a file by the first application to a second application, wherein the first application and the second application are in communication with each other;
receiving, via the second application, a first data receipt record representative of a receipt of the file by the second application after the second application receives the file from the first application;
storing the first data transmission record in at least one or more blocks of a digital distributed ledger;
storing the first data receipt record in the at least one or more blocks of the digital distributed ledger;
distributing the one or more blocks among nodes communicatively coupled to the digital distributed ledger, wherein the digital distributed ledger is configured to immutably store the first data transmission record and the first data receipt record; and
determining that the transmission of the file has occurred correctly by retrieving the first data transmission record and the first data receipt record from the digital distributed ledger and by comparing the first data transmission record to the first data receipt record.
