1. A liquid crystal display device including a display region having a non-rectangular shape, the liquid crystal display device comprising:
a first substrate including a plurality of pixel electrodes, each forming one pixel, and a plurality of wiring electrodes, each configured to be connected to a respective one of the plurality of pixel electrodes;
a second substrate including a common electrode provided facing the plurality of pixel electrodes; and
a liquid crystal provided between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the common electrode,
wherein a voltage is always applied to the plurality of pixel electrodes, via the plurality of wiring electrodes, from outside the display region, and
among the plurality of pixel electrodes, a size of a pixel electrode located at a boundary portion between the display region and a frame region is smaller than a size of a pixel electrode not located at the boundary portion, the frame region being a region outside the display region.
