1. A testing device comprising:
a first member to be positioned on one surface of a part to be tested, and a second member to be positioned on an opposed surface of the part to be tested, one of said first and second members having an ultrasonic transmitter and the other having an ultrasonic receiver;
at least one of said first and second members having at least one magnetic element and the other of said first and second member having at least one magnetic element or at least one ferromagnetic metal element such that when one of said first and second members moves along the surface of the tested part the other of said first and second members will move along an opposed surface with the one of the members; and
wherein said first and second members have notches at a peripheral surface that allow for bending flexibility of the members to conform to the surface of the part to be tested.
