1. An airfoil structure comprising:
an airfoil including a longitudinal axis; and
a spring and damper system connected to the airfoil to rotate the airfoil about the longitudinal axis to change a pitch of the airfoil in response to a load applied to the airfoil, the spring and damper system including a plurality of dampers operatively engaged with the airfoil and arranged to impart a rotational force to the airfoil, each damper of the plurality of dampers being a hydraulic damper and fluidly connected to each other via a fluid conduit that facilitates a flow of a hydraulic fluid between the plurality of dampers,
wherein the airfoil structure is one of a plurality of airfoil structures of a rotating airfoil assembly, the airfoil being rotatable about the longitudinal axis via the spring and damper system independent of each airfoil of the other airfoil structures of the plurality of airfoil structures.
