1. A clearance control ring assembly comprising:
a stator component disposed opposite a rotor component within a gas turbine engine, the stator component including an aft case; and
a clearance control ring being formed of a single structure and extending circumferentially around the stator component, the clearance control ring being disposed radially outward of at least a portion of the aft case, the clearance control ring and the aft case defining a radial gap therebetween,
wherein the clearance control ring has a coefficient of thermal expansion lower than a coefficient of thermal expansion of the aft case,
wherein the aft case includes a retaining shoulder and the clearance control ring includes a projection disposed radially outward of the retaining shoulder and engaging the retaining shoulder.
