a plurality of insulation hangers, each of the insulation hangers having a reinforcing member, and each of the insulation hangers being attached to the horizontally disposed transom;
a curtain wall insulation having opposed outer and inner surfaces and opposed top and bottom surfaces; and
a safing insulation having opposed outer and inner surfaces and opposed top and bottom surfaces;
wherein each of the insulation hangers engages the curtain wall insulation to hold the curtain wall insulation within the framing;
wherein the reinforcing member of each insulation hanger engages a bottom surface of the horizontally disposed transom;
wherein the safing insulation is disposed within the perimeter void and compression fit between the curtain wall insulation and the floor slab;
wherein the curtain wall insulation is not connected to the first vertically disposed mullion; and
wherein the curtain wall insulation is not connected to the second vertically disposed mullion.
