1. A lipid represented by the Formula (I):

OG Complex Work Unit Chemistry
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
a is an integer ranging from 1 to 20;
b is an integer ranging from 2 to 10;
R1 is absent or is selected from the group consisting of (C2-C20)alkenyl, —C(O)O(C2-C20)alkyl, and cyclopropyl substituted with (C2-C20)alkyl; and
R2 is (C2-C20)alkyl.
