1. A method comprising:
obtaining, by a processor, a compensation model characterizing a relationship between an object location within a fabrication chamber of an additive manufacturing apparatus and a geometrical compensation to be applied to an object model, wherein different geometrical compensation values are associated with different locations within the fabrication chamber;
determining, by the processor, magnitudes of dimension parameters and geometrical compensation values of a plurality of objects to be generated within the fabrication chamber in a build operation, the geometrical compensation values determined using the compensation model;
determining, by the processor, a spatial arrangement of the objects to be generated within the fabrication chamber, based on the magnitudes of the dimension parameters and the geometrical compensation values of the objects, such that the objects for which the magnitudes of the dimension parameters are larger are preferentially located at locations within the fabrication chamber for which the geometrical compensation values are lower; and
causing the additive manufacturing apparatus to generate the objects within the fabrication chamber in the determined spatial arrangement.
