7. A method for producing incisions in an interior of an eye, comprising:
defining at least one cut surface in the interior of the eye,
defining a trajectory located in the cut surface,
emitting pulsed laser radiation in a femtosecond range at a wavelength penetrating the cornea into the interior of the eye,
using a beam shaping device, which has an image field and which focuses the pulsed laser radiation into the interior of the eye at a focus located within the image field,
displacing the focus in the interior of the eye and within the image field,
using an image recording device to record at least part of the image field,
evaluating images recorded by the image recording device by operation of an image evaluation device and producing signals directed to the control device, the operator or both; and
determining by operation of the image evaluation device at least one parameter vector of lateral displacement of the eye and comparing the at least one parameter vector to a limit value vector representing a predefined critical error limit and determining at least one prediction for the at least one parameter vector and comparing said at least one prediction to the limit value vector.
