1. A method for creating tissue anastomosis comprising:
(i) delivering a first modular magnet assembly to a first location within a body, wherein the first modular magnet assembly is configured for placement on a first body wall, and wherein the magnets of the first modular magnet assembly are positioned so that an even number of dipoles of the magnets of the first modular magnet assembly have an alternate north-south, south-north orientation;
(ii) delivering a second modular magnet assembly to a second location within the body, wherein the second modular magnet assembly is configured for placement on a second body wall;
(iii) placing the first modular magnet assembly and the second modular magnet assembly on the first body wall and the second body wall respectively.
