1. A wireless communication device comprising:
an antenna configured to receive a wireless signal;
an RF circuit configured to frequency down-convert the wireless signal to a baseband signal; and
a modem configured to perform a cell search to detect an effective synchronization signal from a plurality of frames of the baseband signal,
wherein the modem is further configured to detect the effective synchronization signal based on an effectiveness determination critical value and a peak value of first cumulative values of sub-frames generated by accumulating first correlation values between reference signals and the sub-frames of a first frame of the plurality of frames, on previous cumulative values for each sub-frame, and
wherein the effectiveness determination critical value is adjusted according to a cumulative count of performing accumulation for each sub-frame,
wherein the effectiveness determination critical value is adjusted to have a smaller value as the cumulative count increases,
wherein when the detect of the effective synchronization signal fails,
the modem is further configured to terminate the cell search in response to determining that a cumulative count corresponding to the first cumulative values is equal to or greater than a maximum cumulative count, or
the modem is further configured to perform an operation of detecting the effective synchronization signal with respect to at least one frame subsequent to the first frame in response to determining that the cumulative count is less than the maximum cumulative count,
wherein the maximum cumulative count is determined based on an electric field state of the wireless communication device.
