1. An apparatus of a next generation Node B (gNB), comprising:
radio frequency circuitry configured to communicate with a user equipment (UE); and
one or more baseband processors communicatively coupled to the radio frequency circuitry and configured to perform operations comprising:
generating an indication for the UE to indicate a first set of one or more synchronization signal block (SSB) based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasions to be used by the UE for one or more measurements on a first cell and a second set one or more SMTC occasions to be used by the UE for one or more measurements on a second cell, wherein the indication further comprises a specific identify of the first cell and a specific identify of the second cell; and
sending the indication to the UE.
