A rotatable fan impeller for a respiration therapy appliance, wherein the impeller comprises a central hub with a single support disk which extends substantially in a radial direction starting from the hub, the single support disk having an outer radius which defines a circumference, a plurality of blade elements which are arranged with their base on the single support disk and starting from the hub extend substantially in a radial direction to their blade tip, and wherein a single through-hole is formed as cutout in the single support disk between at least some adjacent blade elements of the plurality of blade elements.
