1. A display apparatus, comprising:
a substrate;
a display area that includes a display device, wherein the display device is disposed on the substrate and includes a first electrode;
at least one insulating layer disposed between the substrate and the display device;
a thin film transistor disposed in the display area and electrically connected to the first electrode;
an encapsulation layer disposed on the display device;
a through portion surrounded by the display area and that penetrates the substrate;
a first groove that surrounds the through portion and is spaced apart from the through portion, wherein the first groove exposes a portion of the at least one insulating layer;
a second groove that surrounds the first groove and is spaced apart from the first groove, wherein the second groove exposes a portion of the at least one insulating layer;
a first region disposed between the first groove and the second groove and that protrudes upwards from the substrate;
a second region disposed between the first groove and the through portion and that protrudes upwards from the substrate; and
a third region disposed between the second groove and the display area and that protrudes upwards from the substrate,
wherein the second and third regions protrude higher from the substrate than the first region.
