1. An electronic device, comprising:
radio front end circuitry; and
processor circuitry, coupled to the radio front end circuitry, and configured to:
generate a radio resource control (RRC) signal including a bitmap for configuring time-domain resources for configured grant (CG) operation; and
transmit, using the radio front end circuitry, the RRC signal to a user equipment (UE) to configure the time-domain resources for the CG operation,
wherein the bitmap comprises a plurality of resource units and wherein each resource unit in the plurality of resource units corresponds to a symbol, a slot, a subframe, or a radio frame, and
wherein a length of the bitmap is greater than a CG periodicity of the CG operation and the length of the bitmap is not an integer multiple of the CG periodicity, or
wherein the length of the bitmap is less than the CG periodicity.
