1. A method of wireless communication performed by a first network entity, comprising:
providing a trigger to switch from a second network entity to the first network entity for transmitting physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communications,
wherein the trigger is provided in association with a handover from the second network entity to the first network entity, and
wherein the trigger is associated with a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration complete message received when a user equipment (UE) is connected to the second network entity and to the first network entity during the handover; and
receiving the PUSCH communications based at least in part on providing the trigger,
wherein physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources associated with the second network entity are released or sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions to the second network entity are ceased.
