1. An apparatus, comprising:
an audio headphone device, including:
a processor configured to generate a first audio signal based on a received audio program and having a first adjustable amplitude and to generate a second audio test signal having an adjustable frequency and a second adjustable amplitude;
a first transducer configured to propagate the first audio signal and the second audio test signal; and
a second transducer configured to receive a composite audio signal comprising at least the second audio test signal and a reflection of the second audio test signal, as reflected from a portion of an auditory anatomy of a user,
wherein the processor is configured to analyze the second audio test signal and the reflection of the second audio test signal and to activate a preventative sequence when the analysis indicates a physiological response is triggered at the user.
