1. An axially resilient press-in contact pin comprising:
a metal body including a pin-shaped section and a press-in spring, the press-in spring being on a first end of the pin-shaped section; and
an electrically conductive elastomeric body that surrounds at least portions of the pin-shaped section and that extends beyond a second end of the pin-shaped section.
