1. A system for detecting a facial apparatus comprising:
a facial image processor arranged to process an image or
a stream of images to detect a facial apparatus on one or more faces represented within the image or the stream of images, wherein the one or more faces is covered with a facial apparatus or is not covered with the facial apparatus,
wherein the facial image processor includes a learning network, and the learning network includes a heatmap regression module arranged to direct the learning network to discriminate features associated with one or more faces covered with the facial apparatus, and features associated with one or more faces not covered the facial apparatus represented on the image or the stream of images,
wherein, on each of the one or more faces, features of the respective face are processed within a first bounding box and features associated with the facial apparatuses are processed within a second bounding box, each of the first bounding box and the second bounding box defines a heatmap having a central position being the same to the respective bounding box, and
wherein the facial image processor is further arranged to generate a notification output based on a detection of the facial apparatus covering the one or more faces.
