1. An image display system, comprising:
an external environment information acquiring device configured to acquire external environment information around a mobile body;
a display device configured to display the external environment information acquired by the external environment information acquiring device;
an input device configured to receive an input operation by a user; and
a control device configured to control a display of the external environment information on the display device according to the input operation by the user,
wherein the control device is configured to generate an outside virtual viewpoint image and an inside virtual viewpoint image and cause the display device to display the outside virtual viewpoint image and the inside virtual viewpoint image, the outside virtual viewpoint image being an image in which the mobile body and an object around the mobile body are viewed from a virtual viewpoint outside the mobile body, the inside virtual viewpoint image being an image in which the mobile body and the object are viewed from a virtual viewpoint inside the mobile body, and
when the input device receives a prescribed enlarging operation in a state where the display device displays the outside virtual viewpoint image, the control device switches an image on the display device from the outside virtual viewpoint image to the inside virtual viewpoint image.
