1. A computer-implemented method of database operation, comprising:
setting a sign bit of a length field for a first value to be represented in a database to indicate that the first value is of a token type that includes information for processing a large object;
storing, in a database, the first value as the token type along with the length field including the sign bit;
querying the database resulting in obtaining the first value as a query result; and
processing, based on a sign bit of a length field of the first value, the first value as a token to obtain the large object using the token including determining a network location to perform the processing based on an amount of network traffic for an operation determined according to information of the first value, a network topology, and a structure of the large object.
