1. A method performed by one or more computers, the method comprising:
collecting, by the one or more computers, data from remote devices over a communication network, wherein the collected data includes (i) first monitoring data from remote devices of a first set of participants in a first monitoring program, and (ii) second monitoring data from remote devices of a second set of participants in a second monitoring program;
evaluating, by the one or more computers, the second monitoring data obtained for the second monitoring program;
based on the evaluation of the second monitoring data obtained for the second monitoring program, determining, by the one or more computers, that the second monitoring data for the second monitoring program indicates that one or more criteria for adjusting the first monitoring program based on the second monitoring program are satisfied;
selecting, by the one or more computers, one or more elements of the second monitoring program that are different from one or more elements of the first monitoring program; and
based on the determination that the second monitoring data for the second monitoring program indicates that the one or more criteria for adjusting the first monitoring program based on the second monitoring program are satisfied, altering, by the one or more computers, the first monitoring program to include the one or more elements of the second monitoring program.
