1. A system comprising:
a photodetector, wherein the photodetector is configured to provide a photodetector signal when a reverse-bias voltage is applied to the photodetector and light is incident on the photodetector, and wherein a gain of the photodetector is based on the reverse-bias voltage applied;
an additional photodetector configured to provide an additional photodetector signal when light is incident on the additional photodetector;
a photodetector biasing source configured to apply the reverse-bias voltage to the photodetector; and
a controller configured to:
receive, from the additional photodetector, a signal indicative of a temperature of the photodetector;
determine, based on the temperature, an adjusted reverse-bias voltage such that the gain of the photodetector is maintained at a specified level; and
cause the photodetector biasing source to apply the adjusted reverse-bias voltage.
