1. A temperature sensor, comprising:
a platinum member having a base portion and a plurality of prongs, the plurality of prongs extending in a first direction from the base portion, a first prong of the plurality of prongs having a first end portion and a second prong of the plurality of prongs having a second end portion, and each prong of the plurality of prongs having a medial portion; and
a housing having interior sidewalls, an interior upper surface, and an interior lower surface collectively defining a sealed cavity housing the platinum member, the housing including:
a first platform projecting in a second direction from the interior lower surface and having a first support surface that supports the base portion, the second direction being transverse to the first direction, and
a second platform projecting in the second direction from the interior lower surface and having a second support surface that supports the first end portion of the first prong and the second end portion of the second prong, the first support surface being spaced apart from the second support surface along the first direction, and the medial portion of each prong of the plurality of prongs being spaced apart from the interior lower surface.
